PARKING ANYONE TWO is now a small camouflaged plastic container; new swag as of 03/26/2023 includes: small toys, a bead pack, new log sheets and a geocaching pencil (PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE PENCIL). Previous contents as of 01/30/2021 included several accessories for a camera, 4 plastic dinosaurs, and a metallic clip as well as a log book. DO NOT TAKE LOG BOOK, please! And there's a FTF wooden coin for the first one to locate this replacement cache. Don't forget: BYOP! in case the pencil is missing.
NOTE: There is a lot of trash at this location, but the cache is CLOSE TO THE PARKING LOT and easy to spot. NOTE (06/08/2024): There seem to be two containers at this same location. One is larger and white with a black lid and the other is much smaller and camouflaged. The second one is the most recent version of this cache; the other is the very first one I put out years ago. I have never seen it since it was first reported "missing." It obviously has been moved to a completely different location. So, whichever one you find, log it and I will accept. Thanks much.
This cache is part of a series of caches that borrows it's concept from a series started in the upstate of SC. That series is called UPAG and is well over 200 caches as of November 2014. My goal is to spread the interest in Geocaching in the lowcountry. They are mainly just park and grabs set out for your enjoyment of finding a cache. No long hike, no hard terrain, no difficult puzzle, no awe-inspiring location. Just a simple cache to get your smiley.
We call them Lowcountry Park And Grabs...or LPAG for short because who needs a long name (although this one does have an additional name) when you are out grabbing easy caches.
This series is not about location, container, or journey to the cache. It is just simply put out there for you to get out and find. It is placed to get more caches in the area. Need a cache for the day...LPAGs. Found all the caches in the area...LPAGs. Unable to endure a hike due to injury, time, etc...LPAGs. Need to get your numbers up for that milestone...LPAGs. Just want to get some easy finds, in a hurry...LPAGs.
Every cache has a place in the geocaching community...including park and grabs, and these caches are being placed for the enjoyment of the geocaching community. So if you are looking for a unique container, special place, or a wonderful journey the LPAG's may not be for you...but...if you looking for an easy park & grab (with an occasional twist here and there) to get your cache fix for the day then the LPAGs is your answer.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BAKER6CLAN on FTF!
