The ninth in an occasional series of morning get-togethers, which aim to be within a few miles of the River Erewash, the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. All geocachers are welcome, for an hour or so of chat, the sharing of ideas, the exchange of trackables, and anything to do with our hobby.
After a town centre location last time, this event is at a farm cafe, but it is not in the middle of nowhere, as it is right next to the A609. A bit further from the River Erewash than normal, but the farm is next to a stream whose waters flow (via the Stanley Brook and the Nutbrook) into the Erewash.
The venue is called Oakfield Farm, and its postcode is DE7 6FP. It has a car park next to the main road, then you walk past the stables to the new cafe/farm shop.
Drinks and hot food are available if required (though no purchase is necessary).
