Park at the "Red Rock" parking area at the end of Paradise
Road. (A Forest Adventure Pass or Day Pass is needed, but both are
available at the Ranger booth on the way in.) The area is dog friendly
(the Geo-Hounds LOVE this place!) but be sure to bring poop bags with you
since there aren't any available at the trailhead.
The hike itself isn't very strenuous, but there are a lot of long stretches
across uneven river rocks, so be sure to wear hiking boots. (But
bring sandels or water mocs for swimmin!)
The cache is a half-sized ammo container. There's NO NEED to poke
through any Poison Oak in order to get to the cache, it's easily accessible!
Please leave the cache hidden as well as you found it. In addition
to a Log Book, Pens and a Disposable Camera (please take your picture!)
the cache contains:
