THE GEOCACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES. In order to find the correct coordinates, you will need to solve the cryptic crossword which can be found in the Image Gallery.

When I first came up with the idea to set a cryptic crossword puzzle cache (GC7J05P), I was working on the assumption that many people would share my passion for both geocaching and cruciverbalism. It has since become apparent that the Venn diagram describing these two activities is practically two distinct circles!

Having said that, since GC7J05P was published last year, it has gone on to become my most favourited cache, so this type of puzzle must be giving enjoyment to some people!

With that in mind, I've decided to set another.

Unlike GC7J05P There are no complex mathematical equations to crack to get the coordinates.  All you need to do is to solve the grid and then apply a little lateral thinking.

I apologise for the particular grid that I've used.  Whilst it is one of the official crossword grids, its design makes it notoriously difficult to solve.  However, this is the only grid that I was able to use that would allow me to utilise the device that will allow you to crack the coordinates.  To compensate for the difficult grid, I have made the crossword a pangram - each letter of the alphabet can be found in the completed grid at least once.  Hopefully, that will help!
