This cache is placed on the 33 mile Stone Circles Challenge (SCC) circular route that visits villages Yarnfield, Swynnerton, Beech, Tittensor, Barlaston, Moddershall, Fulford, Milwich, Hartley Green, Salt, Hopton, Whitgreave and Norton Bridge.
Caches prefixed SCC1 are on a linear section of the route between Wedgwood Station near Barlaston and Moddershall a distance of about 4 miles.
Caches prefixed SSC2 are on a linear section of the route between Fulford and Garshall Green (near Milwich) a distance of about 4.5 miles
The SCC is a mainly rural route and depending on the weather, time of year etc, crops, animals and mud may be experienced and so appropriate footwear is strongly advised.
There is some short walking on minor roads and a need to cross main roads, some have fast moving traffic and so special care should be taken with geokids.
For SCC1 roadside parking is available both at Wedgwood Station and off road in Moddershall.
For SCC2 parking at Fulford village hall and roadside parking in Garshall Green is available.
