Camp Niwana, located near Woodville, Texas has been discussed as a site for Octoberfest. This event has been scheduled to give everyone a chance to visit the camp and its surroundings.
This rustic camp has been operated under the guidelines of Camp Fire, Inc. for many generations. It's screened cabins hold from 6 to 16 campers. Adjacent showers and bathrooms have hot and cold water. A commercial kitchen, a large lodge with dining room and a stone fireplace make Niwana a place for all to feel comfortable and can accommodate almost 100 people.
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Coordinates bring you to the gate. Pull through and follow the road around to the lodge. We can tour the camp together or you can go it alone but please check in to let us know you are there..
