This event will at our home at the published co-ordinates. It will begin at 2.00pm and finish around 3.30pm.
Plenty of parking on site.
New cachers are welcome. Come along and pick the brains of some of the locals or just put faces to names.
The purpose of this event is to highlight the variety of caches out there. Have you ever found a cache and thought - wow how did they come up with this idea? This is your opportunity to see and talk ideas and maybe take a special cache home to place.
To make this work, we ask that each person or team brings along a new cache container containing a logbook to put in the draw. Make it as special as you can (so no pill bottles if possible). Container can be any size - from nano to 44 gallon drum. Caches will be displayed during the event, then towards the end a lucky dip will take place and you go home with a new cache container (which may or may not be the one you provided), that can be placed if you can find a good spot. If you do choose to place the new cache, it would be nice to please acknowledge the team that provided the container. If you want to bring more than one container, you can. You will leave with the same amount you bring. Only those who put a container in the draw, get a chance at the lucky dip.
Some of you may not want (or be able) to bring a cache container and some may want to show but not swap their containers. That's fine too.
This is a Celebration event and you will qualify for the special souvenir.
