This cache is packed full of suprise goodies to help make your BIRTHDAY an especially fun one. If you plan to make exchanges from the contents, please bring a small offering that has been pre-wrapped for the next finder. If you're really in a pinch, there are several small gift bags in the cache which you can use. Whatever you take or leave, please have fun with this.
This normal sized cache (1 1/2 gal) is hidden inside Jacobson Park on the SE side of Lexington. The entrance is at the intersection of Routes 25/421 (Richmond Rd.) and 418 (Athens-Boonesboro Rd.) and the park is open during daylight hours.
The cache is as well hidden as I could make it. Please do your absolute best replacing the cache where you find it and concealing it as best you can. The terrain and difficulty for this one vary drastically. There are times, following a big rain, that a canoe and/or hip waders may be helpful for this one. Other times, you could make it without even getting your dress shoes dirty. The route you choose to take will also make a huge difference.
You might want to bring your dog, fishing gear, or kite since this is a prime spot in Lexington for all three. The main appeal of this cache, however, is the Birthday theme. Please play along, especialy if your Birthday is close at hand. Also, please try to get a picture of yourself and your helpers at the cache site and add it to your log. The original cache had a disposable camera, but the elements were not kind to it.
Enjoy! The Li'l Bears =) =)
