Back before discovering geocaching, I played vintage base ball. Our team, The Village at Winona Blue Laws, played by 1858 rules. No gloves, 2 bit fines for ungentlemanly play. Our team stayed together about seven years.
Today, vintage base ball is still played in Huntington and Elkhart counties.
This cache is hidden at a ball diamond as a tribute to all the amateur players, men and women who play not for cash but for the love of the game.
