I believe this is a challenging puzzle.  Attempt this puzzle at your own risk.  The find will not be bad.  The reward for solving a difficult puzzle.

You have been warned...

Four brothers found their fathers old bag of marbles.  Adam is the oldest, he tells his brothers, " We will split the marbles up like this.Taking turns each brother will take two marbles and then a third of what remains.  I will take mine first, then Ben, followed by Carl, and lastly David.

David objected, "I don't like this! My marbles are two marbles less than half of Ben's marbles."  Adam was the oldest and he wasn't going to change the rules.
