This event was initiated by "Hobo and Miss" who have both sadly lost their fights against Cancer. It is a tribute to them both that we continue the event in their memory.
We will meet at the headline coordinates at 10am on Saturday the 13th April 2019 As per the last event the National Park Ranger for Roborough Down (Paul Glanville) cannot make it, but he will lend us the equipment (Sticks, Gloves, Hi-Viz and Black Bags). We will provide the safety talk to everyone beforehand, He will also provide the maps for us so we can split up into several groups to cover more ground.
The event will end at 12 noon, when you never know (if space can be found in Hobo and Miss territory) there might be somewhere else for you to go.
It is important that you sign up to say whether you are coming so that we can get adequate equipment. Please bring your own gloves and Hi-Viz if you have them.
Please note as the ranger cannot make it, we would be grateful of any help at the end of the event to get the rubbish moved to his waste skip.
