The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.
It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the
Australian Football League during the regular season.
This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.
The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission
from 1942 to 1945 due to World War 2.
Players are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offence
The 1985 Brownlow Medal was won by Brad Hardie from the Footscray (bulldogs) Football Team.
He had 22 votes.
This cache maybe difficult to get when there are sporing events being held.
The cach is a small screw top container painted black. It has a log and a couple swaps.
