At around 2:30 am on February 17, 1971, six members of the Japanese Communist Party (Left Revolution), the Kanagawa Prefectural Committee (Keihin Anpo Kyoutou), broke into a pharmacy and gun store which was near here that time, and tied up four families. He snatched 10 hunting guns (9 shotguns, 1 rifle), 1 air gun, and about 2,300 bullets. Hunting guns stolen at this time were later used in the Asama Sanso case.
Now there is no gun shop and no vestige of that time remains.
1971年2月17日午前2時半頃、日本共産党（革命左派）神奈川県委員会（京浜安保共闘）の6人が当時この付近にあった薬局兼銃砲店に押し入り、一家4人を縛り上げ、猟銃10丁（散弾銃9、ライフル1）・空気銃1丁・銃弾約2300発を強奪した。この時の猟銃はあさま山荘事件でも使われることになった。
今はこの銃砲店もなく当時の面影は残っていません。
