Geocache Description:

D.C. has a street named for each of the 50 states, plus Puerto Rico. As dedicated D.C. geocachers, we have made it our mission to hide a geocache on each of these streets.

This geocache is near Fort Totten Park. This was one of the forts built during the Civil War to protect Washigton DC. It might feel magical because its a historical place. We hiked to the sign that said Fort Totten played an important part during the Battle of Forts Stevens in 1864. One of the amazing things about geocaching is that you get to see things that you wouldn't normally see unless you go in nature and experience history.

Have fun and good luck!
