This cache is located on the Eglin AFB Reservation. Hunters and/or wildlife may be in this area as well as Military personnel conducting training or exercises. It is possible that unexploded ordnances could be in the area so be aware of your surroundings at all times. ****Also please be aware that due to test and training missions these areas maybe closed at any time during the week. Before entering the Eglin AFB Reservation, you must check the current day's Jackson Guard PDF map at (visit link). A recreation permit granting you legal access to the Eglin AFB Reservation is required to search for ANY cache on Eglin AFB Reservation! You must have this permit and it must be in your possession at all times. USAF Security Forces or FWC can check you for your recreation permit at any time while you are on the Eglin AFB Reservation. A Recreational Permit is $20 includes a freshwater fishing permit and is good for one year. The yearly permit is valid from the day you purchase it. You can get your Recreation permit from Jackson Guard either in person, online at (visit link), or by mail (send a copy of your driver's license).
