"Liu-Gong-Jun" is a historical Hydraulic Irrigation System in Great Taipei City. The cache was placed in front of the historical site, the old house 義芳居. The cache is one of Liu-Gong-Jun series. The sight at this spot was almost covered by campus. At waypoint 1 (the entrance to Fanglan Mansion), there was the only exposed route of water system. Along the route from waypoint 1 to the posted coordination, Liu-Gong-Jun system would be with you. It ended at the waypoint 2 which is the pool owned by Taiwan Water Corporation. The pool was not allowed to access but it could be observed through google earth.
The old house at this area represented an era of old good time. Diverse, traditional, or even messy style transmitted a different view of Taipei. Also the fading vitality. The old house 義芳居 was the classic traditional architecture of Taiwan. Many years ago, the house was facing the water system.
The view had been changed into campus. The house was planned to be torn down for years. Luckily it became a historic relic avoiding the fate of destruction. Old water system was covered and barely alive, and the old house was kept and fading. Set a cache to memorize this history.
