Geocache Description:


Breathtaking views from the North West side of Mt Tarrengower and the volcanic actvity on this side of the mountain towards the Nuggetty Ranges, Tarrengower Prison, Pyramid Hill and the Loddon Valley area. Very close by to the cache is the rock that does seem to defy gravity. The volcanic rocks close by are the most spectacular on Mt Tarrengower in this area and surround the cache find. There are some trails from the Butts Reserve shelter that get you towards the cache and rock and to this spectacular natural viewing platform. Best to walk not on a wet day. Token inside the cache that can be swapped. Please bring a pen to log your cache.
