OK Folks here is a nice little backpacking trip or day hike. Down at the river close to the cache are several really nice remote camping spots. Its a pretty remote area. It is approx. a 4 mile hike in From the Locust SPring Picnic Area. We did an overnight backpacking trip to hide it. Lots of fun. This one is probably not for small kids. The Locust Spring trail, while the treadway becomes temporary obscured occassionaly, is well marked by blue blazes on the trees. The trail follows the stream down to the river. The cache is hidden in the fork of a tree about 75 feet up the bank off of the trail along the river.
