Umm el-Amid Cave is a burial cave from the Second Temple period (1st century BCE). The cave is located in the center of the Zofim Park at the end of a short path that runs out of the paved bicycle route.
The cave was used to bury Jewish family from the Second Temple period, based on the design of the walls of the room and the opening of the cave, which are used as a replica of the magnificent construction of the Temple Mount walls from the time of Herods.
In the Byzantine period the front room became a chapel (a Christian chapel).

The cave is a little dirty but not smelly. From the main hall there is an entrance to another hall, without having to crawl (but need a flashlight).

מערת אום אל עמד (או מערת הנדבכים) היא מערת קבורה מתקופת בית שני (המאה הראשונה לפני הספירה). המערה נמצאת במרכז פארק נחל צופים שבירושלים, בקצה שביל קצרצר היוצא מדרך האופניים הסלולה.
המערה שימשה לקבורת משפחה יהודית אמידה מתקופת בית שני וזאת על סמך עיצוב דופנות החדר ופתח המערה המובאים כחיקוי לבנייה המפוארת של חומות הר הבית מתקופת הורדוס.
בתקופה הביזנטית הפך החדר הקדמי לקפלה (בית תפילה נוצרי).

המערה קצת מלוכלכת אך לא מסריחה. מהאולם הראשי ישנה כניסה לאולם נוסף, מבלי צורך לזחול (אך צריך פנס).
