All good cachers go geocaching, what do great cachers do? Cachers Improve The Outdoors!

This year, Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) souvenir moments will extend from just one week, twice a year, to two entire seasons! That’s right earth-lovin’ geocachers This year’s CITO dates are:

CITO 2019 Season 1 Friday, March 1 through Friday, May 31, 2019 That includes all of March, April, and May!

CITO 2019 Season 2 Sunday, September 1 through Saturday, November 30, 2019. That includes all of September, October, and November!

WHEN : Today we will meet at 2pm and clean up til 3pm like we did last time.

WHERE: At the above coordinates.

PROVIDED: Trash bags and gloves.

DRESS: Dress appropriate for the weather and task at hand. RAIN OR SHINE!

History of Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. Cinco de Mayo 2019 occurs on Saturday, May 5. A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations.
