Bordon Inclosure

For CITO 2019 Season 1, we are having a litter pick in the Hogmoor Inclosure along the Western path area for a couple of hours on the Saturday morning between 10:30 and 13:00.
We will be meeting in the carpark at the entrance to the Hogmoor Inclosure Natural Play area. Please park in the carpark and not on the Hogmoor road (the entrance to the carpark is close to the old tank crossing and is sign posted). The event is open to all ages and Geo-Hounds are welcome too, and there are several geocaches in the area for those that have not yet visited the area and logged them. We will be borrowing some litter pickers and bags from the DVT and the Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust.
Please bring your own work gloves if you have them.
Bordon and Whitehill is one of the few areas in the country that have all the UK's reptiles and amphibians, the Inclosures are also home to Deer and other animals also please be aware of adders and ticks. There is also a bat colony and roosts in the Inclosure, and as well as Buzzards circling over the area, we also occasionally enjoy a visiting Red Kite or two.
The inclosures are managed by the Deadwater Valley Trust, their Rangers and their Volunteer groups.
There are three areas that can be explored and as part of the redevelopment in the area, the Bordon Inclosure, the Hogmoor Inclosure and the Deadwater Valley, and will soon be re-populated with three series of caches which will include a mega bonus cache, & at least one-night cache
