According to HolidayInsights.com:

Are you ready to chow down? We hope so, 'cuz today is Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day.

People have been consuming the ever popular grilled cheese sandwich for seemingly ever. Its roots go back to ancient Roman times, when bread was topped with cheese and melted. It wasn't until the 1920's that sliced bread was created. Shortly after that, today's grilled cheese sandwich began to be enjoyed by millions.

Like many other food holiday, one could ask "why". But, the way we see it, the more special days, the merrier. Life is too short. So, let's always have a reason to celebrate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know our last event was at this location, but in our opinion, their grilled cheese is delectable!  Let's get together to share stories, discuss puzzles, discover trackables and laugh the hour (or so) away! Maybe even grab something to munch on, but no purchase is necessary to attend. Start your weekend off right!
