The container is hidden on the back side of the Algona Prisoner of War Museum. There is no room for a pencil, so you will have to bring your own. Please return the cache as found.
During World War II, Algona, Iowa was the site of a Prisoner of War camp. This camp was 'home' to a total of 10,000 German Prisoners from April 1944 to February 1946. The Camp Algona POW Museum seeks to inform and educate visitors about this important time in history, both for Algona and the world at large. We invite you to visit and find out for yourself about this fascinating place which transformed a small town in Iowa.
