Cranleigh Farm was established on this site in 1923 by Lieutenant General James Gordon Legge. There is not much that remains here now but a few of the original trees and if you go searching down the hill a bit, some foundation lines among the grass. There is an information sign close to GZ and a plaque, so for further information they are there for those that are interested.
