This cache is located in a cave about 20 miles south east of Eagle Colorado. The round trip hike to the cave is probably less than 2 miles. The cache is located about 75 feet inside the cave in the first room that you are able to stand up in, on your left side.
To get into the room in the cave where the cache is located you must be willing to squeeze through about 75 feet of passage that is beetween 1 1/2 to 3 feet tall ( you will get muddy ). This is a tight squeze and if you are claustrophobic this is not the cache for you. The room with the cache is like a big circle about 20 feet accross and around 12 feet tall. the cache is on a ledge here about 2 feet off the ground. Take a flashlight and a back up. You will also want to wear some clothes you don't mind getting muddy.
Access to this area is controlled by White River National Forest, by a couple of gates on the road. These gates are generally closed with the first good snow of the year and not opened again til about June the next year. If you are going out to the cache in the middle of the summer you won't have any trouble with the gates. If you are headed out here in late Fall, Winter or Spring the gates will probably be closed. The original contents of this cache were not recorded (I forgot). There is some pretty cool stuff in there though.
