An interesting spot to notice the differences in terrain in this area. If you attempt this in the Spring, you may need rubber boots to deal with the flooding and mud. The terrain in Spring can be much higher than the rest of the year.

Please be aware that the terrain from the south trailhead is steeper than from the north.
