phenixcachers: The dnf one week ago worried me because this super large container was so big, you couldn't miss it...haha.
Checked on it today.
Yep...it's been stolen.
Someone stole a nice large container stocked full of fun music, games, books, puzzles, etc.
This makes me sad.
But then again, the large log has rotted and crumbled since I hid the cache, making it very hard to conceal the huge container.
But, I did hide a new, fun, "mystery cache container" !
Watch for it to publish this weekend, hopefuly!

Well gang, I may have outdone myself on this cache size and all its different contents/swag...haha.

I thought of a VERY COOL THEME for this big honkin' ammo can...haha.

The cache name/title is "That's Entertainment"!---and ole Phenix is here, at your service, to try his best to entertain you with this cache theme...haha.

Inside you will find....

Books, magazines, TV crossword book, several Readers Digests books, LOTS of CD-Rom game discs that you play on your home computer, and a sampling of various music cd's.

Please only take one or two items at a time and please note what you took in your found log.

This big honkin' ammo can is located 20-25 feet off the FHT....and bushwhacking is very minimal

It's a very short walk from the nearby farm road/trail crossing.

Cache should remain UPRIGHT at all times and COMPLETELY covered with the plentiful pieces of rotted logs and bark.

PLEASE NOTE...

For some reason, closing the lid on this giant ammo can CAN be very TRICKY!

For example...

Sometimes when you go to close it, its VERY HARD to push down the latch, and sometimes, the other latch on the opposite side pops off..haha.

I find its easiest to just unlatch both latches, which totally removes the massive lid.

Then, its easy to latch both latches back.

Just work with it...you'll figure it out...haha
