Almost everyone has played the popular board game “Monopoly”, or at least has heard about it. The game was "officially" born on March 19, 1935 when Parker Brothers acquired the rights to it from game inventor Charles Darrow. From the classic board design to the hundreds of other “opoly” spin-offs, it is the best-selling board game in the world, sold in 103 countries and produced in 37 languages.
After archiving the original series a couple of years ago, I decided to redo an entirely new set of Monopoly hides for the area cachers to enjoy.
New York Avenue is the last Orange property and is one of the most-landed-on in the game, partly due to the "Go Back 3 Spaces" card and its proximity to the Jail square. As with the last properties of other groups, it has slightly higher values than its neighbors, St. James Place and Tennessee Avenue.
