The Daer Reservoir is a place i heard about from a work friend who lived in the now knocked down ten workman houses that onced stood next to the water tanks, having camped here several times in the last fifteen years, Its a place i've fell in love with.
The Reservoir was officially opened by HM Queen Elizebeth II in 1956 to supply water to the centralbelt.
As you reach the top of the dam wall, I hope it takes your breath as it still takes mine with its beauty.
