The history of Lethbridge is based in coal that was found along the shores and into the banks of the Old Man River. Nicholas Sheran established the first commercial coal mine in Alberta on the west side of the river just north of the current Whoop Up Bridge. At this location you will find more information and even some pictures of the mine area. Using the information available at this location, you will be able to locate the cache and sign the log.
