CARL11 - #3 Wilderness Walk Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

morningdrifter: Looks like a lot of DNFs on this cache. It was always pretty tricky but looks like it didn't make it through the winter. Thanks for visiting the cache. MD&S1

Geocache Description:

Yet another cache to grab on your way back to the parking lot. Note there are other caches in the area that you can grab while you are here.

From the City of Lethbridge website: Alexander Wilderness Park, a 255 hectare park, is a tranquil preservation area, sheltered on one side by coulee cliffs and bordered on the other side by the Oldman River. The park is only accessible by a 2.5 kilometre walking trail leading through the coulees from the lower parking lot where you will find public washrooms and a picnic site. Nature and exercise enthusiasts alike have plenty of opportunity to see a multitude of plants and animals as they enjoy a casual stroll or a vigorous hike through the park. The park is open from 7 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. during the summer.

There are a few rules associated with a designated nature preserve:

• Bikes and dogs are not allowed

• Picking or removing of vegetation is not allowed

• Fires and camping are not permitted
