Geocache Description:

This cache was placed with permission of the Hollis Park district. Best parking can be found around N40 34.586 W089 44.881 This is our first cache placed and I believe that the coordinates are pretty accurate but would appreciate some corrections if not.

It is about 3/4 of a mile round trip walk to the cache. The cache container has been changed it is now a 30 cal ammo can painted camo.

On July 5th, 04 we added

new log book
cat toy
dog toy
mini pocket knife
light stick
rain poncho
handwarmers
8 ball car antenna ball

The park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from April through October. So this cache will be removed during the winter. There is fishing by permit Fri. through Sunday and posted holidays. Wed is Senior Citizen fishing day. There is an archery range. No Swimming, No Alcohol, and No ATV's allowed in the park. Thanks for hunting this cache. Have FUN!!
