Geocache Description:

The River Avon viaduct sits on a picturesque stretch of the water that I used to fish as a boy. The viaduct (top of pic) where the cache can be found has spanned the river for over one hundred a sixty years now, recently a new addition has been added to the dam nearby, can you spot it?. This is a stunning part of Lanarkshire with amazing colours in all four seasons of the year. I visit here quite regularly with the Mrs and kids, I would recommend to stop, grab a cache and take in the views and listen to the wildlife.
