Pigeon Creek Park is one of my favorite places to hike in Ottawa County. The area north of Stanton has inside tracks that horses can go on, and an outside track for hiking only. This cache is a little over a half mile from the parking area, if you go via the inside track. Watch out for road apples (also known as horse poop). The cache is, however, not on the horse trail - thus the name “No Road Apples Here.” There is another nearby cache that you could do first, which will put you closer to my cache without worrying about road apples.
You can stay off the horse trail here (so no road apples to look out for). This only requires a leisurely stroll around the back side of the park. It is not too far off the trail. The container is a peanut butter jar.
