Na gradskom igralištu se nalaze sportski tereni na kojima se mogu igrati: nogomet, rukomet, tenis, i košarka. Gradsko igralište jedno je od tri igrališta u gradu Komiži. Na njemu se nalaze reflektori, pa se može igrati po noći.
Preko školske godine, na ovom igralištu, povremeno se održava školska nastava (tjelesni odgoj) osnovne škole Komiže. Preko ljeta, na igralištu se održavaju turniri.
2007. godine igralište je obnovljeno te su nadograđeni teniski tereni. Na igralištu se nalazi i moto klub, gdje se tijekom godine, održavaju koncerti, druženja komižana i ostale slične manifestacije.

On the city playground you can play football, handball, tennis, and basketball. The city playground is one of the three playgrounds in the town of Komiža. There are reflectors on it, so it can be played at night.
Through out the school year, on this playground, school education (physical education) of elementary school Komiza is occasionally held. During the summer, tournaments are held on the playground.
In 2007 the playground was renewed and the tennis courts were added on. There is also a motor cycle club on the playground, where during the year, concerts, gatherings of locals and other similar events are held.
