INDIAN LAKE: ELM ISLAND TRAIL #6
This is part of a LONG series of caches. Read information below before planning to work on this three part series of caches.
The first part, the Elm Island Trail contains 8 caches. The caches are of difficulty 2 - 3 with terrain at a 2-2.5, but can be very muddy depending on the time of your trek.
The second part is the Pashley(Pasley on some maps) Falls Ski Trail #1-5. The caches difficulty is also a 2-2.5 with the terrain at a 2.5-3 for the distance and some water areas you may need to go through or around to reach this part of the trail.
The third part is the Pashley Falls Ski Trail A through E. The trail is hard to keep track of and many water hazards will be part of your journey. [If you attempt this part of the trail in the Spring you will most likely need to go deep in the woods after D because the trail is a total wash out since it is right next to the river. Then you can try to work your way back to the trail toward E, we did this in April to place the caches] You have been warned! The cache sizes are slightly larger and hidden difficulty at a 2, but the terrain is now a 3-3.5. Once again this part of the trail is not well defined.
