Geocache Description:

High above the Panhandle Trail, there are remnants of old coal mines. Best parking is at Sunnyside Trailhead. Walk west on the trail until you cross an old stone block bridge, then look for the path marked Fossil Cliff. Go into the woods here, but bear right. Lots of trails and dirt bike paths in here, and your GPS will point you straight up a VERY steep hill, which you may certainly climb, if you're so inclined, but for a more leisurely walk, you can keep following the old Coal Road, along the side of the hill, it will switch back up at the top of the hill and take you to within a few feet of the cache. Boots or sturdy footwear is recommended, tends to be muddy back here, with frequent water hazards. You may see a snake, a coyote, or even a Bigfoot (my neighbor swears she saw a Sasquatch in these woods some years ago, but it ran away when she screamed, so may have been a black bear). Cache is medium ammo box.
