Geocache Description:

Dare you stick it!?

Not much to say here except that this is a Patchogue tradition. Hubby and I graduated from PMHS back in the 80's and hung out at the triplex nearly every weekend. Had to walk by this spot all the time and we added to it every time.

Looks like some cleaning up has been done since then. I suppose 15 - 20 years has been a long time and if the clean up isn't done periodically, well things could get a little sticky. I would hate to have the job! Don't know if this has been going for longer than that but I suspect so, after all a lot of people can't walk and chew gum at the same time, and since you need to go down the sidewalk...well it just makes sense.

Stop by this Patchogue historical site (wink, wink) and pay tribute to the powers that let it be. First person there please check the coords for me and email me. I was visiting "home" on vacation from Virginia when I took the reading and was a bit rushed. You must email me with the color of your contribution, and a guess at what this placed is called, in order to get credit for the find. Add a picture to your post if you to see the home town when I can. If you do not email me with your guess and information, BEFORE posting a find, I will delete your log. Play the game people!
