Geocache Description:

I heard about geocachng from my friend CC, of the team Timberline Echoes. At the time I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a GPS receiver so I tried out letterboxing instead. I was reminded of geocaching many years later as I searched online for fun things to do with my son. For awhile, CHawk08 - he changed his name later to Geocaching Superhero - was my main caching buddy. Soon, I was obsessed with finding caches, so I talked Liqdchrm23 into caching with me. We've been hanging out in parking lots for years,so this fits right in! laughShe gave me this nice container for Christmas one year. We traded out all the swag that was inside for different stuff though. This is definitely kid friendly and filled with toys.

I wanted to hide this cache as a tribute to all the wonderful friends who cache with me. I'm glad Daisy Explorers were so kind at the first SRTC we attended,or I may never have gone to another event. I dragged Colin and Tina to many an SRTC and CBGB event trying to make caching friends. Thanks to the puzzle classes put on by GMarkusic and SpeedCity, I finally got to know CarpenterLuvaKatCrew and Cheer_Mom. I can always count on these 2 to be up for a random caching adventure. I always find more caches when these ladies are in charge of the planning.

It's been so cool doing night caches with groups of cachers. From hoping I could keep up with Hiking Viking, Beafrog, Ms. Calla Lily, butter4 and I don't know who else, to FINALLY getting to do the night cache at Bash with JAMM637, axetowax, sunflowersu and anyone else we met along the trail. I'm also a big fan of caching as long as we can, day or night. I will never forget driving around Cincy with Colin asleep in the LuvaKat van as Team Hundo. Or Tipping over a trashcan to find a bison tube. I'm not sure how Kim talked TyroneShoelaces into meeting us for parking lot caches. My absolute favorite team name, though, was SuperSleepnJediBobKat. JarJarJedi and Bobbo12164 always crack me up.

I could go on and on here. Rhino34 nad MsCallaLily always write really great logs. DillieOpal is better than an Uber, and KTBUG101 is always up for an adventure. JimC61, Shell Leavers, and OnABoat hide caches faster than I can find them. I'd never have hidden any caches without encouragement from ooma.k, oompa.k and Timoteo283. I had help from my family to hide this cache on a sunny winter day. I've spent many hours enjoying Chagrin River Park. I hope you have fun looking for this cache. Bring a friend or 2 if you can!

This cache is located in Chagrin River Park. Hours are 6 AM to 11 PM. It tends to get pretty busy here, so keep your eyes peeled for muggles.
This cache is hidden with permission of Lake Metroparks.

***Congratulations to JimC61 on the FTF!***
