In 1964 Colonel Sanders sold Kentucky Fried Chicken, Colonel Sanders and his wife, Claudia opened Claudia Sanders Dinner House in Shelbyville Kentucky soon afterwards.
In the late seventies the Sanders started to franchise Claudia Sanders restaurants and this one here in Etown was one of the original franchises. Not long after this place opened for business a court order was handed down that the business was too much like the KFC franchises for which Sanders had sold and he was ordered to close down all the franchises and only retain the ordinal Claudia Sanders Dinner House in Shelbyville. This location then turned into another local chicken place then became a boot outlet for many year before becoming an ice cream place that it is now, Do You Remember?
