HR - Naselje „Uske njive“ nalazi se u južnom dijelu grada Osijeka, u smjeru prigradskog naselja Tenja. Sam naziv „Uske njive“ vjerojatno je nastao jer su do početka izgradnje stambenih i drugih infrastrukturnih dijelova naselja na istom mjestu bile njive, vrtovi i druge poljoprivredne obradive površine.
ENG - The "Uske njive" settlement is located in the southern part of Osijek, in the direction of the suburban settlement Tenja. The very name of the "narrow meadows" is probably due to the fact that before the beginning of the construction of residential and other infrastructure parts of the settlement there were fields, gardens and other agricultural land at the same place.
HR - Detaljan plan uređenja za ovo naselje, veličine oko 28 hektara, izrađen je tijekom 1995. godine. Danas je to stambeno naselje u kojem prevladavaju stambene zgrade i obiteljske kuće. Unutar naselja nalazi se i dječje igralište.
ENG - A detailed plan for this settlement, within about 28 hectares, was built in 1995. Today it is a residential settlement with prevailing residential buildings and family houses. Inside the resort there is also a children's playground.
HR - Na krajnjem južnom dijelu naselja, nalazi se dugačak travnati pojas i drvored uz osječku obilaznicu. Zid do obilaznice oslikan je grafitima. To je mjesto za odmor, šetnju s kućnim ljubimcima ili jednostavno – uživanje.
ENG - At the far southern part of the settlement, there is a long grass belt and tree-lined along the Osijek ring road. The wall to the bypass was painted with graphite. It's a vacation spot, a walk with pets, or simply - enjoying it.
