ATTENTION - BEES IN THE AREA

UPDATE 6/18/19 -

Someone sprayed our hives and killed our bees.  I am undertaking the massive cleanup effort, and friend gifted me a small hive split.  Wish us luck as we rebuild.

  • Three Hives on the property, the cache is in line of site of our hives.  If you are allergic, this cache is not for you.  However, if you are not allergic, you can see our (Hogwarts) hives from fairly close.  Please do not disturb the bees or stand in their flight path.

  • The cache is located on my property on the corner of the white fence farthest from the hives.  Our neighbors love our bees, and perhaps you would like to see them too.

  • This puzzle cache requires that you make a sacrifice to retrieve the log.  No, that doesn't mean getting stung.  We would all prefer if that doesn't happen.

For centuries, people would often sacrifice or give something to appease gods, forces of nature, or for luck.  A gift was often something that it could potentially be painful to go without.  Money, food, or other necessities for health and life were offered to prove to whatever outside force that the person offering the sacrifice was willing to suffer for favor.  To obtain the cache and log book, you will have to part with the one thing that sustains all life.  Your gift will help the flowers grow, the Bees to thrive, and the plants and animals around will grow with more strength in turn.
