A Hometown cache, hidden just a few 'steps' off of Ye Old Hauto Road.
Most C&Ds you find are hidden under small light-post covers in busy parking lots and in the gaps of guardrails, next to busy roads. I grab those C&Ds when I can... but I'd much rather score my finds in the woods, away from watching eyes and whizzing cars. With that in mind, I offer the Ye Old Substation cache. This hide offers an easy parking spot and as an added bonus, traffic on the road is typically light! From parking, you have a walk of less than 400' to reach GZ; the walk is slightly uphill, but is all on dirt and the latter half involves some nice sized rocks and large trees. (nice, right?!?) Finally, you seek a small/medium container with woodsy camo and a log; there is room for a small trackable or two, but not much room for trinkets. Please have your own pen, and please rehide as found.
