Welcome to “The Anasazi Tomb” cache site. We named the site because there is a telltale cave in the vicinity. Native American culture for this region use to bury their dead in the holes of these sandstone cliff faces. The site has a beautiful view and several large boulders in the area. The cache is in an old pill bottle and hidden pretty well. Imagine the cache like a tomb, would you want someone to uncover the treasure buried with you? So this “treasure” is hidden well and in the style of the ancients. There is a small ATV trail leading up to the cache site if you wish to drive that far. Give us feedback once you find it to let us know how we did as this is our first cache we have ever hidden.
