Deutsche Beschreibung
Zunächst ein paar wichtige Hinweise zum Cache:
- Bitte verhaltet euch respektvoll und angemessen in den Gebäuden.
- Alle Kirchen haben nur eingeschränkte Öffnungszeiten; insbesondere am Sonntag Vormittag finden Gottesdienste statt. Während der Gottesdienste und auch bei allen anderen Veranstaltungen in den jeweiligen Kirchen ist kein Cachen möglich!
- Der Weg von Kirche zu Kirche bis zum Final beträgt ca. 1,2 km plus ggf. Rückweg. Wie viele Kilometer ihr zusätzlich in den jeweiligen Kirchen noch umherlauft, lässt sich aber schwer vorhersehen.
- Wer mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln anreist, fährt am einfachsten mit der U1 bis Haltestelle Lorenzkirche und läuft ab da (ca. 700m) oder fährt mit der Buslinie 36 bis Burgstraße.
- Ich möchte in der Cachebeschreibung nicht die ganze Historie der einzelnen Gebäude abschreiben, von daher folgt jeweils nur ein-zwei kurze Sätze dazu. Wer mehr wissen möchte, wird z.B. bei Wikipedia fündig, man kaufe sich einen entsprechenden Reiseführer oder buche eine Führung (z.B. in St. Sebald).
- Die Stages sind alle mit Kinderwagen gut zu bewältigen, für Rollstuhlfahrer gelten folgende Hinweise:
- Die Kirchen können alle barrierefrei betreten werden.
- Teilweise befindet sich in der Innenstadt Kopfsteinpflaster und an manchen Stellen sind die Wege etwas steiler.
- Innerhalb der Kirchen gibt es manchmal einzelne Stufen, die wohl nur mit Hilfe überwunden werden können. Bei Nachfrage gebe ich die entsprechenden Zahlen aber gerne heraus.
- Das Final befindet lässt sich vom Rollstuhl aus gut heben.

St. Sebald ist die älteste Pfarrkirche Nürnbergs und Ausgangspunkt dieses Multis.
A = Sucht den Kerzenständer in Form einer Kugel. Wie viele Kerzen haben dort außen Platz?
B = An der zweiten (vom Eingang Richtung Altar geblickt) freistehenden Säule rechts befindet sich ein Relief. Wie viele Bäume stehen dort rechts von den 3 Kreuzen auf dem Hügel? Rechnet noch +1 dazu.
C = an der dritten freistehenden Säule rechts befindet sich ein stark verblasstes Gemälde. Welche zwei Farben dominieren die Umrandung des Gemäldes? (Blau und Gelb = 3, Rot und Grün = 4, Orange und Lila = 7)
D = Über dem Sitz an der Orgel ist ein Gesicht zu erkennen. Welche Farbe hat die Zunge (Anzahl der Buchstaben)
E = das Gemälde über dem Ausgang rechts der Orgel. Dort befinden sich die Namen wievieler kniender Männer.
F = Die Holzschnitzerei ganz vorne, zeigt zwei Engel mit wievielen Schlüsseln
G = Anzahl der Schnecken, die den Sarkopharg des heiligen Sebald tragen
H = Sucht den Erker mit den vergitterten Fenstern. Dieser hat unten 5 Reihen mit goldenen Zierbändern. Das mittlere Band besteht aus wie vielen Blüten?
I = Findet die Statue eines Mannes mit einem Schiff in der Hand. Von welcher Stiftung ist auf dem Schild links neben ihm die Rede? Anzahl der Buchstaben ohne "-Stiftung"
K = Findet das Bild von "Sebald nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg". Aus welchem Jahr stammt es (letzten beiden Ziffern).
Frauenkirche N 49° 27.240 E 11° 4.680 -> GESCHLOSSEN BIS ENDE 2023, Daten s.u.
Die Frauenkirche ist Schauplatz des weltberühmten Prologs des Nürnberger Christkinds zur Eröffnung des Christkindlesmarkts. Zusätzlich gibt es täglich um 12 Uhr mittags das Männleinlaufen: Die sieben Kurfürsten umkreisen einmal Kaiser Karl IV.
Der Zutritt zur Kirche ist für Rollstuhlfahrer über den linken Eingang möglich (wenn man am Hauptmarkt vor der Kirche steht, dann geht man links an der Vorderseite vorbei und dann durch die rechte Tür).
L = Wie viele Engel sitzen im Chorraum auf dem Sims (die meisten tragen eine Kerze) 18
M = Aus wie vielen Teilen besteht der Sockel des runden Altars (Teile mit verfugte Zwischenräumen zählen als eins) 4
N = Links von der Orgel, unterhalb einer Steinstatue befindet sich ein Stern, wie viele Zacken hat er? 6
O = Über dem Haupteingangs befindet sich eine Holzschnitzerei. Im unteren Teil sind wie viele menschliche Gestalten inkl. des Leichnams versammelt (Anzahl ist Gerade, es zählen auch ganz kleine) 12
Im Vorraum (dieser ist u.U. mit Rollstuhl nicht zu erreichen, in dem Fall gebe ich die Antworten gerne auf Anfrage heraus)
P = Wie viele goldene Kreise befinden sich an der Decke (nur vollständige, keine übermalten) 6
Q = Wie viele Pferde sind in der Holzschnitzerei zu finden? 3
Gegenüber der Orgel befindet sich eine schmale Glastür zu einem kleinen runden Raum.
R = Wie viele Fenster sind dort? 7
S = Wie viele Bleche als Kerzenständer sind dort montiert. 17

St. Egidien ist die einzige Barockkirche Nürnbergs.
T = An der Decke befindet sich ein Langloch, an dessen Rand befinden sich rechteckige Löcher. Wieviele solche Löcher bilden eine Gruppe, sind also mit relativ geringen Abstand zu ihren Nachbarn, bevor wieder eine größere Lücke kommt?
U = Rechts vom Kreuz (Blickrichtung weg vom Eingang) befinden sich wieviele ovale Gemälde?
V = Findet den verglasten Torbogen. Wenn ihr durchschaut, wie viele Kreise findet ihr an der Decke des dahinterliegenden Raums.
W = Das Wappen über dem verglasten Torbogen hat wie viele weiße Streifen
X = Ganz vorne ist links und rechts eine Tafel in die Wand eingelassen. In der 5. Zeile von unten befinden sich 4 Buchstaben. Bildet den BWW.
Y = Anzahl Augen des Kerzenständers im Vorraum

Das Final findet ihr nun bei:

Zur Kontrolle, zählt alle (also auch die 49 und die 11 mit berechnen) Ziffern zusammen. Das Ergebnis ist gleich C+K+R-P.

This cache shows you the historical churches in the Nuremberg district Sebald.
First of all some important hints:
- You enter several churches, please be respectful towards other people and their religion.
- All churches have restricted opening hours. You have to go inside, so this is NOT a 24/7 cache. Keep in mind that Sunday morning is the ordinary time for church service. If there is a church service or another event running, then it is not possible to cache!
- The distance from church to church to the final is about 1.0 km plus the way back if necessary. How many meters you have to walk in each church is hard to predict.
- If you want to go by public transport use subway U1 stop Lorenzkirche with a walk of 700m or go by bus line 36 to stop Burgstraße.
- I don't like to copy Wikipedia articles as background information for each church into this cache description. So please feel free to read Wikipedia, buy a travel guide or book a guided tour.
- All Stages are accessible with stroller. For wheelchair access please note the following:
- I guess all churches can be entered also with a wheelchair.
- Some areas are with cobblestones and sometimes the way is a little bit steep.
- The final is about 1,5m above the ground.

St. Sebald is the oldes parish church in Nuremberg and start of this multi cache.
A = Search the candleholder in the shape of a sphere. How many candles can be putted on the (without the one in the middle)?
B = If you look in direction of the altar, on the second freestanding pillar, there is a relief. How many trees are right of the three crosses on the hill? Add +1 to the number
C = on the third pillar right, there is a faded painting. Which two colors are on the border (mainly): blue and yellow = 3, red und green = 4, orange and lila = 7)
D = Above the seat of the organ, there is a face. What color has the tongue, count the number of letters.
E = Right from the organ, there is a exit. The painting above: how many kneeling men are there?
F = On the wood carving at the very front, are two angels. How many keys they are holding?
G = How many snails carring the sarcophagus of the holy Sebald?
H = Find the bay with barred windows. This has below 5 rows of golden ribbons. The middle band consists of how many flowers?
I = Find the statue of the man with a boat in his hand. Look right, there is a plate. Count the number of letters of the foundation sponsored (German "Stiftung", starting with M, don't count letters of the word -Stiftung).
K = Find the painting "Sebald nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg" (Sebald after world war II). What year is it from (only the last two digits).

The church of our lady is the is the scene of the world famous prologue of the Nuremberg Christ Child at the opening of the Christkindlasmarkt. Further, there is every noon at 12 the so called Männleinlaufen: The seven prince-electors orbited Emperor Karl IV.
Wheelchair access to the church is via the left entry: If you are on the large market area, go left side of the church and enter the right door.
L = How many angels are sitting in the choir area on the cornice (most of them have a candle). 18

N = Left from the organ, below a stone statue there is a star. How many theeth hat der Stern? 6
O = Above the main entrance, there is a wood carving. In the lower part, how many humans are there (count also the dead person). Hint: the number is even and count also very small ones). 12
In the lobby (maybe this is not accessible with wheel chair, in this case I will give you the answers):
P = How many golden circles are on the ceiling? Count only complete ones, no overpainted 6
Q = How many horses are in the wood carving? 3
Vis-a-vis of the organ, there is a narrow glas door to a small round room.
R = How many windows are there? 7

St. Egidien is the only baroque church in Nuremberg.
T = On the ceiling there is a oblong hole. On its edge there are rectangular holes. How many of these holes are grouped together, i.e. they have a small distance, before a new group started, larger distance)?
U = If you look from entrance to the cross then you find how many oval paintings right of the cross on the wall.
V = Find the glazed archway. If you can see through how many circles you will find on the ceiling of the room behind it.
W = The coat of arms above the glazed archway has like many white stripes
X = At the very front, a panel is embedded in the wall on the left and right. In the 5th line from below there are 4 letters. Sum up the letters worth (a=1, b=2, etc.)
Y = How many eyes has the candle holder right from the entrance.
