The Millbrook Valley Trails have expanded to this section which will join to the Ganaraska Forest trail system. While at a recent gathering, a municipality representative suggested that we continue placing caches in this new section along an old access road (Fire Route#3). The section furthest west has been laid out and has bridges built by the mountain biking community.
We suggest parking along the main road but for those who wish to drive part of it, driving past the parking co-ords (N 44° 06.996 W 078° 28.437) may be risky. There is a turnaround area once you drive past the swamp and just before the first walking bridge but we would not recommend driving this section.
We saw poison ivy while placing some of the caches but tried to avoid placing caches near it.
