Ten years ago I placed my first cache. Recently I began to ponder what kind of cache I could put out to honor the last 10 years of fun. I decided I should pay tribute to one of the most memorable hides I had ever found, the now-archived Top Hat Speleocat cache hidden at this very location. Since the original can only be un-archived by the CO, and the CO has apparently left the game, I decided to place a tribute here in the same style. I hope you enjoy it.
Note: People are camping in tents about 50 yards east of here. They randomly come walking out of the bushes to the road now and then. Quite a few cars and cyclists come by as well, so please time your grab carefully. If anyone spots you mid-retrieval, this cache will quickly go the way of the earlier Top Hat. Thank you.
Attributes showing picnic tables, restrooms and drinking water pertain to the large park you probably passed when driving up this road. A nice place for a pit stop.
Log only. BYOP. Screw the container shut tightly. The top tends to pop off.
