This cache will take you on a hike along the ridgeline seperating the two passes ( Outeniqua and Montagu ). Fantastic views to the North towards the Little Karoo and Swartberg. To the South views over George towards the coast.
There are a number of ways to approach the hike -
Start Montagu Pass / Finish Outeniqua Pass ( or vice versa ) - requires pickup at the end or car parked earlier
Alternatively do a complete circuit by going one way along the ridge line and then returning via the traditional Pass to Pass hiking trail which runs below.
This cache was placed on a hike with 17 others during the Garden Route Walking Festival. Due to the fires last year it is somewhat easier now to find the path.
