The cache is situated at the Wingecarribee Dam site, this dam not only suppliments Sydney but also Goulburn.
The lawn areas provide trestle tables for picnicks with clean toilets in the area. The expansive views over the dam are securely fenced on the dam side but open onto the dead end street access side, however children have a good play area with easy supervision.
The lawns are also used for astronomy nights by a few dedicated locals, the dam waters giving off no heat haze in summer.
