Carroll Butts Remembered Traditional Cache

Carroll Butts Park, a great neighborhood park for all to enjoy. Outdoor swimming pool when open. Great well maintained playground area for all to enjoy. Indoor Sports Arena, including Slapshot Hockey Center In-line skating. 3 picnic tables, tennis courts, Softball fields and basketball court.

Remembering many days at this park with my children. Not wanting my children to re-learning to bicycle without training wheels, the park with it's thick grass was perfect. My daughter got the idea in a couple days in the park, then she went as fast as she could across the park. I got her and bicycle tackled before she went into the lake. Then we worked on the use of brakes. With my son, he learned the idea of brakes before he took to the idea of pedaling and balance. I learned quickly what to teach first.
